Job summary

JM Huber Corporation is seeking a Technical Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and capital projects at the Bauxite site. You will set reliability targets, coach the maintenance team, and collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

This role reports to the Plant Manager and involves budgeting, project execution, EHS&S compliance, and continuous improvement, with a competitive salary range and bonus possibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8-15 years in manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering, maintenance, or reliability leadership.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations Manager to schedule downtime and equipment availability for maintenance, reliability, and capital improvements without impacting customer needs.
• Interpret technical results and make recommendations to Plant Manager, operations, and HAM teams.
• Oversee capital budget and expenditures/CAR system with NA Engineering Manager to ensure timely, accurate delivery within the budget and schedules.
• Develop and coach Maintenance Team while guiding Process and Project Engineers to meet reliability goals.
• Support plant trials, NPD processes, and communication of plant capabilities with technology, engineering, and logistics groups.
• Enforce safety and environmental regulations and company policies; ensure required trainings are completed on time.
