Job summary

Abacus Technology in Oklahoma City is seeking a Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to provide technical support at Tinker AFB on a full-time basis. The role focuses on developing an effective R&M process and ensuring the weapon system R&M requirements are clearly defined and achieved.

You will review FRACAS and reliability reports, assist in design baseline reviews, and evaluate OEM proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in systems and test engineering; DoD environment experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Must understand DoD, AF, and related engineering principles and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop an effective Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) process to meet weapon system requirements.
• Review FRACAS and reliability standard reports.
• Assist in reviewing overall system design baseline and interoperability requirements.
• Review OEM proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Assist in risk assessments, life-cycle cost, producibility, and reliability analyses.
• Assist in translating user requirements into weapon system requirements for deployment.
