Job summary

Talent Wave Associates seeks a senior Reliability Engineering leader to drive qualification and commercialization of new technologies. You will establish reliability systems, mentor a world-class team, and lead DFMEA and qualification programs to ensure robust module reliability in manufacturing and the field.

You will oversee design-change assessment, data-driven testing, and cross-functional risk assessments while collaborating with certification agencies to achieve required module

Qualifications

• MS in engineering or related field; PhD preferred.
• 10 years of experience in engineering with volume manufacturing and process/product improvement.
• 10 years of experience in reliability prediction modeling, reliability physics, and MTBF.
• 8 years of engineering leadership and management in process engineering and/or process development.
• 5 years of experience managing the Quality and/or Reliability function in a global volume manufacturing and product development setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating safe work environments.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Proficient in data mining, data analysis, SPC, lean manufacturing concepts, reliability analysis, and six sigma.
• Excellent interpersonal, managerial, organizational, and team-building skills.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of systems to assess design and process changes.
• Build reliability modeling infrastructure and analyze material interactions.
• Oversee DFMEA implementation and support product qualification plans.
• Generate actionable insights through testing and data analysis to improve module reliability.
• Own training, use, maintenance, and continuous improvement of DFMEA.
• Foster a world-class safety culture.
• Develop and lead a team for module technology qualification.
• Establish cross-functional FMEA-based risk assessments for new designs.
• Develop and execute qualification processes to limit release risk.
• Develop reliability test methods and validate field assumptions.
• Communicate reliability concerns across functions.
• Collaborate with certification agencies for module certifications.
• Enhance infrastructure for quality, reliability, and material analysis.
• Support global high-volume manufacturing reliability monitoring.
• Drive root-cause analysis of module performance and implement corrective actions.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Reliability Engineering team.
