Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Reliability Engineer – Services to deliver world-class reliability consulting and remote monitoring services. You will translate asset health insights into actionable actions, drive uptime improvements, and support maintenance strategy optimization across customer sites.

You will lead reviews, communicate ROI, and collaborate with product teams to incorporate feedback. Travel is estimated at 35% to serve diverse industrial customers globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MS or MBA a plus.
• 10+ years industrial manufacturing experience; exposure to rotating machinery, remote condition monitoring, and industrial networking & controls.
• 10+ years industrial reliability experience across varied industries and applications.
• Demonstrated expertise across sensing modalities (vibration, current, torque, etc.).
• Reliability expertise across industries (Food & Beverage, Intralogistics, Metals, Mining, Heavy Industry).
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, industrial machinery and maintenance best practices.
• Experience with analog signal processing (trending, waveform and spectral analysis) and/or Criticality Analysis preferred.
• Experience building analytical tools to automate reliability reports.
• Strong customer facing skills focusing on service, voice-of-customer, conflict resolution, negotiation.
• Knowledge of reliability metrics (cost avoidance, unplanned downtime, OEE).
• CMRP certification a plus.
• Vibration Analyst CAT II required; higher certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and trusted reliability consultant translating insights into improvements in uptime, availability, and maintenance effectiveness.
• Lead customer reliability reviews, presenting trends in asset health, failure modes, and ROI to maintenance and leadership stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of predictive maintenance by aligning diagnostic insights with reliability goals and strategies.
• Use RCA, failure trend analysis, PM optimization to convert insights into performance gains.
• Ensure predictive maintenance findings are clearly communicated, actions tracked, ROI demonstrated.
• Escalate risks and gaps, driving corrective actions.
• Support account retention by showing value from reliability programs.
• Identify opportunities to expand reliability programs based on asset trends.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on customer feedback.
• Provide guidance on asset management and monitoring strategies.
