Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineer to own reliability, availability and lifecycle management for a bank of power-generation assets.

You will monitor assets remotely, analyze trends, and coordinate with OEMs and internal teams to drive proactive improvements. The role involves on-site support at facilities with 30–40% travel, and collaboration with our data-science team to sharpen alerts and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in reliability, maintenance, field service, or related roles.
• Experience with gas turbines, generators, and power-generation assets.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, availability, MTBF and health scores for assigned assets.
• Remote monitoring and triage of alerts using OEM/in-house tools.
• Lead RCA and implement corrective actions with maintenance planners.
• Collaborate with OEMs and Solaris leaders on overhauls and CAPEX planning.
• Develop and maintain reliability dashboards and KPI reports.
