Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure is seeking a Reliability Engineer in Houston to own reliability, availability and lifecycle management for gas turbines, generators, and balance-of-plant equipment. You will monitor assets, analyze trends, and partner with data-science teams to sharpen alerts and dashboards.

You will work with site teams and OEMs, travel ~30–40% to assigned facilities, and contribute to proactive maintenance strategies and CAPEX planning. A strong RCA background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 5+ years in reliability/maintenance.
• Experience with gas turbines or power-generation assets.
• Strong RCA, troubleshooting and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor and analyze assets across the power-generation fleet.
• Troubleshoot trips or derates with field teams, on-site or remotely.
• Lead root cause analyses and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Collaborate with OEMs and maintenance teams to plan overhauls and CAPEX decisions.
