Job summary

Mars UK is seeking a Reliability Engineer to eliminate maintenance losses by developing and implementing proactive maintenance strategies for site equipment. You will lead PM optimization, RCA, FMEA, and predictive tools such as vibration and thermography, while coaching technical staff to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

This role requires strong data-driven problem solving, project leadership, and experience with high-speed packaging equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 10 years of related manufacturing experience.
Demonstrated capability to develop effective maintenance strategies to reduce technical losses.
Ability to use data to find root causes of complex problems.
Strong track record in high-speed packaging and high-volume equipment management.
Experience with advanced maintenance management practices is preferred.
Proven leadership, organization, and time-management skills.
Strong communication and proficiency with Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

Define, design and refine maintenance strategies for new and existing equipment.
Lead maintenance improvement programs and predictive maintenance analyses.
Interpret SAP PM data to set priorities and action lists to improve reliability.
Coach and train maintenance associates in advanced maintenance tools.
Coordinate with planners to schedule PM/PdM services and inspections.
Identify and fix chronic equipment problems and reduce downtime.
