Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer to drive reliability across power, wind and electrification projects. You will model, simulate, and validate systems with industry partners, coordinating with DOE, DOD, universities, and internal teams.

You will translate reliability goals into practical design inputs, lead onsite reporting, and guide cross‑functional studies to mature reference architectures that scale across power systems initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in engineering, reliability, or related functions.
• 5+ years consulting or leadership experience.
• 5+ years presenting to senior leaders (C-suite).
• 5+ years managing complex engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate design power architectures with focus on reliability.
• Develop reliability models using BlockSIM for complex systems.
• Coordinate across teams for uptime and resilience of on-site assets.
• Translate MTBF/SLA into concrete protection requirements.
• Support LCOE and reliability targets in reference architectures.
• Run reliability simulations to derisk integration against standards.
• Lead onsite generation report preparation for customer meetings.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts with consulting and product teams.
• Deeply analyze reliability metrics to inform design decisions.
• Standardize solutions via repeatable reference architectures.
