Job summary

Alphia is a leading manufacturer of pet food with multiple plants across the United States. The Senior Reliability Engineer will identify and mitigate asset reliability risks, develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans, and drive cross-functional improvements.

You will conduct FMEA, RCA, and reliability analyses, collaborating with maintenance, engineering, operations, safety, CI and quality teams to enhance system reliability and reduce total delivered cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5–7+ years in manufacturing engineering or related roles.
• Experience with FMEA, RCM, RCA and reliability analytics.
• Proficient in CMMS data extraction and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliability strategies to enhance performance.
• Conduct FMEA to proactively identify potential failures.
• Perform reliability analyses including FMEA, RCM and RCA.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans based on data.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, operations, safety, CI and quality teams.
