Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Reliability Engineer to join the LP1 maintenance team in Lebanon, IN. You will own the equipment reliability strategy and monitor performance to drive improvements in MTBF and MTTR, with a focus on GMP compliance and safe operation.

The role involves developing maintenance plans, performing RCAs, and supporting change controls, while collaborating with Process Engineering to enhance asset reliability and maintainability across LP1.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of reliability engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR, downtime, costs).
• Provide field support to identify and resolve equipment issues, including after hours.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain maintenance strategies for safe operation and GMP compliance.
• Perform Root-Cause Analysis and remediation plans for events or PM issues.
• Support change controls, investigations, and related activities.
• Continuously improve maintenance instructions and spare parts lists.
• Serve as site expert in Maximo CMMS usage for maintenance strategies and history.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to improve equipment reliability and maintainability.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding reliability and maintenance activities.
