The Product Development Engineer focused on Reliability will lead cross-functional reliability projects, drive Design for Reliability (DfR) practices, and ensure reliability requirements are defined and met in new product development. You will plan and perform reliability verification and validation tests, develop DFMEAs, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing,
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of Reliability Engineering experience.
- MS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or CRE certification preferred.
- Experience with Reliasoft, PTC Windchill and Minitab required.
- Semiconductor capital equipment experience with SEMI-standard reliability metrics is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead reliability verification and validation tests for new products and releases.
- Develop reliability plans, DFMEAs, test protocols and reliability growth plans.
- Perform thermo-mechanical simulations at the component level and develop reliability models.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, marketing and supply chain to meet reliability requirements.
- Travel to customer sites and global service organizations as needed.
