Job summary

Education is a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering; PE registration is highly preferred. Five or more years in reliability engineering are required, with strong knowledge of maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering registration (PE) preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant reliability engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert in Reliability.
• Drive the adoption of established Maintenance & Reliability Best Practices.
• Design or modify asset care strategies and procedures using Risk-based and other methods (RCM, FMEA).
• Collaborate with technical resources to solve chronic equipment problems.
• Lead equipment failure investigations using root cause analysis, 5-Why, and other analytic techniques.
• Provide technical guidance to production, engineering, & maintenance for continuous improvement.
• Analyze costs and benefits of equipment options to meet reliability objectives.
• Create or modify site procedures to stay current with industry best practices.
