Job summary

Amazon's Annapurna AI Manufacturing, Quality and Reliability team seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer to define and execute reliability tests across manufacturing and supply chains. You will work with internal and external partners to anticipate risks and drive robust test methodologies for complex hardware systems.

Responsibilities include predicting failure mechanisms, guiding test plans, and mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced hardware environment. This role is based in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering.
• 7+ years of Reliability Engineering work experience with server compute platforms or high-tech hardware.

Responsibilities

• Define reliability tests to be implemented during manufacturing.
• Drive component manufacturing process improvements to address reliability issues and concerns.
• Perform Reliability prediction of failure mechanisms in products under development and in the field.
• Develop and execute qualification test plans for critical components.
• Monitor trends and elevate quality issues with vendors.
