Job summary

Rosehill Resources, Inc. seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer to deliver reliability, technical, and engineering services to optimize fixed and rotating equipment life. You will support PM and PDM programs and assist operations to ensure equipment operates within design parameters.

The role requires advising on capital designs for reliability, developing specs, and tracking cost justifications, with on-call refinery support as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in reliability or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliability, technical, and engineering services to optimize equipment life.
• Assist PM and PDM programs and ensure operation within design parameters.
• Advise on new capital designs and installations for reliability improvements.
• Develop equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvement.
• Develop and track cost justifications for reliability improvements.
• Support refinery outages and be available for off-hours as required.

Provide technical assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems.

Assistsin formulating, implementing, maintaining, and auditing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PDM) programs.

Assist Operations, Product Control, and Maintenance Departments in developing procedures, training, and processes to ensure equipment is operated within its design parameters.

Advise engineering on new capital designs and installations to ensure that equipment reliability, operability, and maintainability are addressed.

Develop and review equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvement.

Develop and track cost justifications for reliability improvement.

Provide Refinery support during planned and unplanned outages, including availability to respond to and support critical business needs during off‑hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Performs all duties following the safety rules and guidelines established by the Refinery.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Engineering required.
• 5 years of engineering experience in reliability or maintenance required.

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
