Job summary

Rosehill Resources is seeking a seasoned supervisor for the Inspection Department to lead, coordinate, and enhance the reliability and safety of fixed equipment. You will oversee contractor inspections during shutdowns and long-duration projects, directing root cause analyses and metallurgical reviews.

The role focuses on providing expert guidance across design, fabrication, repair, inspection and testing, while ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 10 years of experience with fixed equipment reliability and/or engineering experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide leadership to the Inspection Department.
• Coordinate contract inspection personnel during shutdown and long-duration projects.
• Develop programs to ensure the reliability and safety of fixed equipment.
• Provide root cause failure analysis and metallurgical oversight.
• Publish reports on inspection findings and failure analysis; ensure code compliance.
• Offer design, fabrication, repair, alteration, inspection and testing guidance for equipment.
• Provide fixed equipment design and repair expertise via research and repair recommendations.
• Assist in turnaround planning with inspection guidance.
• Review and edit inspection recommendations and reports for code/engineering compliance.
• Backfill the Mechanical Reliability Manager as needed.

• Develop and implement programs to ensure the reliability and safety of fixed equipment.
• Provide root cause failure analysis of components including corrosion research, reporting and supervision of metallurgical analysis.
• Publish written reports on inspection findings and failure analysis. Review and edit inspection recommendations and reports for code and engineering compliance.
• Provide expertise regarding design, fabrication, repair, alteration, inspection, and testing of equipment.
• Provide fixed equipment design and repair expertise through research and repair recommendations consistent with applicable industry codes, standards, and specifications.
• Provide inspection guidance in turnaround planning.
• Review and edit inspection recommendations and reports for code and engineering compliance.
• Support and backfill the Mechanical Reliability Manager as needed.
