Job summary

Array Tech, Inc. is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to lead reliability activities across solar tracker products, driving DFMEA, reliability modeling, and validation planning.

You will work with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and program management to reduce warranty exposure and improve durability in outdoor environments. The role requires 5+ years in reliability or related fields and strong skills in DFMEA, MTBF, Weibull, and DVPRs, with experience in NPI or stage-gate processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in reliability, product development, validation, or quality engineering within a mechanical or electromechanical environment.
• Experience with DFMEA, reliability modeling (MTBF, Weibull, RBD), root cause analysis, validation testing, and accelerated life testing.
• Experience working within structured NPI or stage-gate development processes.
• Familiarity with reliability testing methods and environmental qualification practices.
• Strong technical communication skills, including reports, presentations, and executive summaries.
• Experience analyzing field performance data to drive engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFMEA development and continuous improvement for new and existing products.

This role is responsible for improving long-term product durability, performance, safety, and lifecycle cost through structured reliability methodologies, testing, and cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Reliability Engineer will drive reliability strategy including Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), reliability modeling, accelerated testing, field performance analysis, and validation planning. This role will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management to improve product robustness and reduce failure risk throughout the product lifecycle.
