Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Release Train Engineering Senior Manager in Bloomfield, CT to drive the Agile Release Train across multiple teams. You will remove impediments, manage risks, and lead continuous improvement to ensure value delivery.

You will collaborate with architects, data engineers and business stakeholders to build a roadmap, manage releases, and promote DevOps practices while leveraging tools like Jira and Tableau for progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; 5 years IT healthcare experience (Master’s +3 years acceptable).
• Experience with Teradata CRM solutions in healthcare.
• Managing Snowflake data store for healthcare payers.
• Managing AWS technologies including Terraform, S3, and Glue ETL.
• Pharmacy domain experience is required.
• Real-time decision making for Next best actions with VCXaaS product.
• Maintaining services with Redis and Mongo Atlas caches.
• Working with RPDM and redpoint tools for campaigns and communications.
• Building REST APIs for consumer portals using Java and Springboot.
• Managing messages from Apache Kafka for data streaming.
• Using Twilio to send appointment reminders; AWS SES for emails.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Build technology roadmap; identify strategic objectives and initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects and data engineers for a recommendations pipeline.
• Create and manage release schedules for timely delivery.
• Identify, assess and mitigate release risks; promote DevOps and CD practices.
• Create UML diagrams (Activity, Sequence, Data Flow) and prototyping.
• Design and manage cloud- services with AWS and Azure.
• Oversee data warehousing with Teradata and Snowflake.
• Facilitate dashboards using Tableau and Jira.
• Operate in a Hybrid work schedule.
