Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years in IT with at least 5 years in a release manager role for enterprise applications.
• Strong experience in release planning, scheduling, and coordinating major/minor/patch milestones.

Responsibilities

• Release planning, calendars, timelines, and milestone coordination.
• Cross-functional coordination with developers, QA, SREs, and product owners for deployment readiness.
• Risk & change management including contingency and rollback planning.
• Quality assurance gatekeeping ensuring testing, security scans, and staging checks before rollout.
• Oversee deployment and traffic control with strategies like blue-green or canary releases.
• Communicate status and release notes to stakeholders and downtime/new capabilities to business units.
• Drive DevOps optimization, automation of CI/CD, and monitor DORA metrics.
