Job summary

You will lead risk management, coordinate cross‑functional teams across locations, run Readiness, Milestone and Go/No-Go reviews, and continuously improve the release process, requiring a minimum of 10 years in release management and strong Agile experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in release management.
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-team releases.

Responsibilities

• Forward plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio.
• Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.
• Measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are on time and within budget.
• Coordinate release content and effort based on service requests/backlog, third-party apps, or OS updates.
• Communicate project plans, commitments and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule and scope changes.
• Manage relationships and coordinate work between teams at different locations.
• Conduct Release Readiness, Milestone, and Go/No-Go reviews.
• Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans.
• Weekly Release Reporting.
• Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required.
• Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities.
• Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges.
• Maintain the release schedule for all core services and alignment with partners and vendors.
• Continually improve the release process.
• Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including deployment plans and checklists.
• Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and roadblocks.
