Onshape, based in Boston, MA, seeks a Principal Release Engineer (Automation Developer) to own the software release process. You will automate builds, manage CI/CD pipelines, containerize apps with Docker/Kubernetes, and work with developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable updates.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in release engineering, strong Java and scripting skills, experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, AWS or Azure, and a commitment to continuous improvement in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as Release Engineer or similar role.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
