Job description

Description

The Senior RelativityOne Administrator will serve as the principal technical resource responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting an enterprise RelativityOne environment used for complex litigation and electronic discovery matters. The position works directly with attorneys, litigation teams, reviewers, and technical staff to develop search strategies, support document review workflows, resolve user issues, and prepare outgoing productions. This individual will ensure users have a reliable and properly configured environment for managing document review, advanced searches, privilege analysis, and production activities.

This is a hands-on position for an accomplished Relativity professional who combines platform expertise, technical problem solving, and responsive client support. The administrator will configure databases and workspaces, resolve local and remote access issues, evaluate technical risks, support production activities, and provide specialized training tailored to litigation teams. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor who can translate complex technical concepts into practical guidance, manage competing priorities, and deliver dependable support under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, configure, and support an enterprise RelativityOne environment used for complex litigation and electronic discovery matters.
  • Configure new databases and workspaces, including fields, layouts, views, permissions, workflows, and other application settings.
  • Assist with high-level database architecture and design based on matter-specific legal, review, and production requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with organizational security policies, Relativity requirements, and other applicable system and technical requirements.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate technical risks affecting the eDiscovery database environment.
  • Lead the technical preparation of outgoing productions, including quality checking coding fields and confirming that production deliverables meet applicable technical specifications.
  • Support the preparation, quality review, and generation of privilege logs.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and litigation teams to develop and implement advanced search strategies and document review workflows.
  • Apply eDiscovery technologies, processes, and industry best practices to support large-scale, technically complex matters.
  • Troubleshoot local and remote user access, permissions, navigation, performance, and other technical issues.
  • Coordinate end-user support and resolve complex or escalated technical requests.
  • Provide specialized, hands-on RelativityOne training to attorneys, paralegals, reviewers, and litigation support personnel.
  • Assist remote users with accessing, navigating, searching, and working within RelativityOne workspaces.
  • Plan and coordinate technical activities while managing client expectations, deadlines, priorities, and risk.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, new platform capabilities, and potential workflow improvements.
  • Provide technical and managerial guidance to other eDiscovery professionals, as assigned.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for configurations, procedures, production activities, technical decisions, and issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance or suitability determination.
  • At least five years of experience providing eDiscovery services and litigation support for large, complex matters involving significant eDiscovery challenges.
  • Extensive hands-on experience administering, configuring, or supporting Relativity or RelativityOne.
  • Thorough understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model and its application throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle.
  • Experience managing eDiscovery projects and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with database configuration, workspace design, document review workflows, advanced searches, privilege logs, quality control, and outgoing productions.
  • Advanced experience planning eDiscovery efforts, managing client expectations, and working with clients to minimize legal, technical, and operational risk.
  • Proficiency across a wide range of relevant technologies.
  • Knowledge of eDiscovery industry best practices, including the tools and processes used to support large-scale, complex eDiscovery matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, maintain appropriate priorities, and manage schedules under extremely tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist remote users with accessing and navigating Relativity workspaces.
  • Managerial, supervisory, or technical team-lead experience.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide clear technical guidance and build effective working relationships with attorneys, litigation teams, technical personnel, and end users.
Preferred:
  • Relativity or another recognized eDiscovery certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, information management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in a legal or litigation support environment.
  • Trial support experience.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation: $120,000-$140,000/Year
  • Benefits: Health, life, dental, vision, and disability insurance (eligible after 30 days).
