City National Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager SR I to acquire and manage small business and personal relationships across a national geography, collaborating with RBC USWM Financial Advisors to deliver CNB’s full capabilities.

The role is primarily remote with occasional in‑market collaboration, focusing on qualified client introductions, sound financial advice, cross‑selling, and disciplined sales and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of direct sales experience required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a financial institution required.
• Deep knowledge of CNB's offerings for small business clients.
• Strong regulatory/compliance knowledge (CIP/KYC).
• Economic understanding to advise clients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage a portfolio of small business and personal relationships to meet sales goals (deposits, lending, fees).
• Develop strategy to engage RBC USWM Financial Advisors for client introductions and education.
• Deepen client relationships through cross-selling with SME colleagues and RBC engagement.
• Deliver exceptional client service and resolve escalations.
• Maintain awareness of policies and lending authorities to manage risk effectively.
• Represent the Bank professionally and build internal partnerships to drive referrals.
