Job summary

Truist is seeking a client service oriented professional to build and expand client relationships in person and over the phone, delivering financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals.

You will cross train to perform teller duties as needed, support branch sales targets, and uphold internal controls and compliance while providing a courteous, efficient client experience.

This full-time role requires weekend hours and occasional travel within the market.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment with NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and possible weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by developing and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by consulting with clients and referring more complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attends training and product knowledge meetings to improve sales techniques.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience during teller transactions and client greetings.
