Job summary

DXC Technology in the United States seeks a Senior Reinsurance Business Analyst to lead functional design and delivery for reinsurance admin implementations. You will translate business needs into clear specifications and coordinate with clients, product and QA teams across the project lifecycle.

You will drive requirements, manage scopes, support data migration and testing, and mentor junior analysts while staying current on market practices and regulatory considerations in the insurance sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in insurance or reinsurance implementations.
• Strong knowledge of reinsurance administration processes including treaty and facultative.
• Experience supporting functional implementation workstreams for packaged or out-of-the-box enterprise apps.
• Ability to guide clients toward standard product adoption while balancing priorities and timelines.
• Experience with data migration, integration design, and end-to-end testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the functional implementation of a reinsurance administration application.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project leadership, and the implementation team.
• Drive requirements elicitation, process analysis, and fit-gap assessments.
• Define target business processes, operating procedures, and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead functional workshops and decision-making sessions with client stakeholders.
• Collaborate on integration, data conversion, and reporting requirements.
• Oversee functional testing activities and user sign-off.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior analysts.
• Manage scope, traceability, and change impacts across requirements and design.
• Support client readiness through training, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
