Job summary

Coalition, Inc. is seeking a seasoned actuary with deep reinsurance expertise to lead Coalition Re’s portfolio analytics and pricing strategy. The role combines technical depth with leadership, governance, and strategic communication across underwriting and executive teams.

You will own pricing development, cash-flow modeling, and portfolio governance, while coordinating with underwriters, data scientists, and security experts to deliver data-driven reinsurance decisions and broker relationships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of pricing experience, including reinsurance
• ACAS or FCAS certification required
• Strong knowledge of actuarial pricing, reinsurance structures, cash-flow modeling, and risk/return evaluation
• Experience leading complex pricing initiatives and governance of pricing models
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable underwriting recommendations

Responsibilities

• Set vision for portfolio analytics framework and pricing models
• Lead end-to-end pricing for complex reinsurance treaties
• Lead portfolio profitability reviews and provide pricing recommendations
• Establish pricing governance controls and data quality standards
• Collaborate with underwriters, data scientists, engineers, and security experts on analytics solutions
• Communicate pricing strategy and portfolio risk to senior leadership and brokers
