Job summary

Progressive is seeking a senior or lead accounting and financial reporting specialist on the Reinsurance Accounting team. You will own complex accounting and reporting activities and partner with leaders, auditors, and business partners to ensure accurate, compliant financial results.

This is a remote role with occasional travel to our headquarters in Mayfield Village, OH for meetings and training. You will lead month-end close processes, regulatory disclosures, and support strategic decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field and a minimum of 4 years related accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Own complex accounting and reporting activities within Reinsurance Accounting.
• Partner with leaders, auditors, and business partners to ensure accurate, compliant financial results.
• Support regulatory reporting and month-end close processes, including system feeds, journal entries, reconciliations, and billings.
