Job summary

Sapiens is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Reinsurance to lead client liaison, analyze business processes, and draft requirements that translate business needs into technical solutions. The role emphasizes policy administration in reinsurance and collaboration across functional teams.

The ideal candidate will guide business-process improvements, perform cost/benefit analyses, and mentor junior BAs while ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business analysis experience in the Insurance industry, focusing on Reinsurance.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to set, drive and achieve deliverables.
• Strong facilitation skills.
• Strong domain expertise in Reinsurance policy administration and underwriting as relevant to Sapiens' strategy.
• Proficiency with Use Case modelling.
• Experience with MS Office products and relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Leads business process analysis, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefits analysis to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
• Plans, schedules and leads collaborative requirements elaboration sessions with the client's business users.
• Defines and documents clear and concise business requirements in language understandable to both technical and domain stakeholders.
• Tracks project scope through careful requirements management.
• Works with development and quality assurance teams to schedule requirement reviews.
• Provides input to and review of estimates at each phase of a project.
• Serves as liaison between client stakeholders, project team members, software engineers and QA personnel.
• Identifies gaps and opportunities and participates in sales support activities as needed.
