Job summary
LNC Search, partnering with a leading insurance organization, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep Reinsurance expertise to work across Reinsurance, Finance, Underwriting, Claims, and Technology. You will translate complex business needs into Epics and user stories, analyze current and future-state reinsurance processes, and support testing, QA, and production stabilization.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Insurance/Reinsurance, strong SQL and Excel skills, and the ability to
Qualifications
- 5+ years BA experience in Insurance/Reinsurance.
- Strong knowledge of Assumed & Direct Business in P&C.
- Familiar with Treaty/Facultative structures and premium administration.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and drive improvements.
- Translate requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories.
- Document current and future-state reinsurance processes.
- Support testing, QA, UAT, and production stabilization.
- Collaborate with tech/vendor teams on enhancements and issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
- Improve documentation, processes, and platform capabilities.
