Job summary

PROMPTCARE COMPANIES INC in King of Prussia, PA seeks an experienced Manager of Reimbursement to optimize AR processes and lead a billing and follow‑up team. The role requires deep knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, payer rules, and denial management, with strong communication and leadership capabilities.

The position reports to the Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management and carries Exempt, Full‑Time status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of healthcare AR, medical billing, reimbursement, or revenue cycle experience; DME experience preferred.
• Experience leading billing, collections, payment posting, denial management, or AR follow‑up teams.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, Medicare/Medicaid, payer rules, and documentation requirements.
• Experience analyzing AR aging, denials, and payer issues; ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily AR operations for respiratory division billing, collections, posting, denial follow‑up, and payer resolution.
• Monitor AR aging by payer, account, aging bucket, and denial reason to prioritize collections.
• Lead and supervise AR staff, including billing specialists, follow‑up reps, denial specialists, and payment posters.
• Establish productivity standards, workflows, and accountability for the AR team.
• Track KPIs such as DSO, clean claim rate, denial rate, and aging over 90 days.
• Prepare AR performance reports for leadership and recommend cash‑flow strategies.
