Intermountain Health is seeking a reimbursement analyst for a fully remote role with Peaks Regional Office in Colorado. The position handles Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements, cost reporting, and regulatory settlements across multiple hospitals.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or other business related field with four years’ experience.
• Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or other business-related field with two years experience.
• Computer skills including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and Internet.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and non-routine tasks requiring more in-depth analysis and is expected to identify alternatives and recommend plans to resolve problems.
• Performs or reviews reimbursement processes (i.e., reconciliation of third‑party G/L accounts, calculation of actual and budgeted contractual allowances and variances, monitoring of individual claims).
• Prepares monthly Medicare and Medicaid settlement and policy reserve calculations using acceptable methodologies.
• Prepares or reviews cost reports and surveys, reviews audit adjustments and settlements, files appeals to maximize reimbursement.
• Acts as a mentor and may coordinate, train and review staff in reimbursement functions.
• Stays current on reimbursement laws and determines impacts on hospital operations.
• Manages scope, deadlines, deliverables and coordinates complex projects; documents procedures and standards.
• Investigates reimbursement changes and communicates potential impacts to leadership.
• Responsible for 2+ hospitals or 1+ hospital and Central Office assignments.
