Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as stated; four years or two years of relevant experience; education verified.
• Computer skills including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and non-routine tasks requiring more in-depth analysis and identifies alternatives and plans.
• Performs or reviews reimbursement processes (e.g., reconciliation of third-party G/L accounts, calculation of actual and budgeted contractual allowances).
• Prepares monthly Medicare and Medicaid settlement and policy reserve calculations using reimbursement methodologies.
• Prepares or reviews cost reports and surveys, reviews audit adjustments and settlements, and files appeals and exception requests.
• Mentors others in reimbursement functions and coordinates work across Finance, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Government Relations, and Leadership.
