Voa Gny is seeking a Certified Rehabilitative Counselor (CRC) to support individuals with disabilities through vocational rehabilitation and workforce development. The role involves assessing clients, creating individualized career plans (ICP), and coordinating services to help clients achieve employment goals.

The Counselor will supervise the Economic Empowerment Specialist and mentor staff, ensuring collaborative service delivery within the Career Access Program in Bronx, NY 10455.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience with people with disabilities in vocational rehab.
• CRC certification preferred.
• Experience supervising staff preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess abilities and needs to craft ICPs.
• Develop and implement ICPs with client input.
• Review ICPs and track progress.
• Supervise and mentor the Economic Empowerment Specialist.
• Coordinate with team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Lead outreach to recruit eligible participants.
• Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality.
• Prepare program reports for evaluation.
