Job summary

State of North Carolina’s DHHS is hiring a Rehabilitation Counselor Supervisor (NS) for the Laurinburg office, overseeing day-to-day operations and a third-party program with the Scotland County school system.

Responsibilities include supervising counselors, planning and evaluating program operations, and ensuring productive, high-quality customer service. Requires master's in rehab counseling or CRCC certification with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or counseling from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience as a rehabilitation counselor.
• Current certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRCC) and two years of experience as a rehabilitation counselor.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day administrative operation of the Laurinburg office.
• Supervise Rehabilitation Counselors and other assigned staff.
• Assist the Unit Manager with planning, implementing, and evaluating program operations.
• Supervise casework and approval processes for staff.
• Coordinate with the Scotland County school system in third-party programs.
