Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Laurinburg, NC seeks a Rehabilitation Counselor Supervisor to lead daily operations of the Laurinburg office, oversee staff, and coordinate a third-party program with the Scotland County school system.

You will work with the Unit Manager to plan, implement, and evaluate both technical and administrative aspects of the program, ensuring productivity and quality service.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or counseling.
• Current certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRCC) and two years of experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day administrative operations of the Laurinburg office, including a third-party program with the Scotland County school system.
• Supervise Rehabilitation Counselors and other staff; supervise assigned casework and approvals.
• Assist Unit Manager with planning, implementing, and evaluating technical and administrative components of the program.
• Develop productivity and quality customer service goals with the team.
