Job summary

UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center is seeking a Rehab/Support Assistant to join a multidisciplinary team. You will assist PT/OT/SLP staff in patient treatment, prepare treatment areas and equipment, and help with clerical tasks and inventory control within a supportive environment.

The role involves supervising rehab technicians, volunteers, and students, while encouraging collaborative care to improve patients’ functional abilities and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience in related field preferred.
• Life Support Training Policy guidance may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist PT/OT/SLP staff in patient treatment under supervision.
• Prepare and maintain department treatment areas and equipment.
• Assist with entering department charges and clerical duties.
• Inventory control of supplies and equipment including DME.
• Teach rehab technician duties to new staff, students, and volunteers.
