Athletico in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to support clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator. You will greet patients, assist with treatments alongside physical therapists, and help with administrative tasks in compliance with state practice acts.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior rehab aide or tech experience preferred, with strong communication, attention to detail, and a team-player mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or intern preferred.
• Previous rehab aide or rehab tech experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Patient satisfaction: providing care that exceeds expectations.

• Complete tasks thoroughly.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists.
• Safeguards and motivates patients during exercises under supervision.
• Provides routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and modalities.
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens, restocks supplies and maintains restrooms.
• Answers phones, schedules appointments and files paperwork.
• Assist with inventory and supplies management in the clinic.
