Job summary

Greenfield Rehabilitation Agency, Inc. in Janesville, Wisconsin seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team.

Full-time, with PRN opportunities, to help residents improve mobility, balance, and independence in a senior community. The PTA will work under a licensed PT, implement individualized plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program with an associate degree as PTA.
• Wisconsin State Certification to practice as PTA.
• Experience in clinical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Monitor residents’ responses to therapy and report progress to the supervising PT.
• Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal resident outcomes.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain a positive, professional presence within the senior community.
