Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold or be willing to pursue CRCM or related certification (e.g., CIPP, CCEP).
• Two to five years' experience in regulatory compliance or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Understand consumer protection laws, regulations and policies applicable to the bank.
• Monitor and track consumer complaints from customers or regulators; draft responses and meet deadlines.
• Perform Regulatory Risk Assessments to identify and mitigate risk; suggest process improvements.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments on products, services, and third-party vendors.
• Assist in identifying and quantifying compliance risk considering bank operations and offerings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with first line of defense to embed compliance in processes.
• Provide compliance training to management and staff as directed.
• Participate on committees and task forces for new product initiatives.
• Assist in developing and maintaining compliance procedures for business lines.
• Support monitoring, testing, marketing reviews, and other Compliance Risk activities as needed.
• Compile compliance data for management reporting.
• Demonstrate independence and teamwork; maintain professional relationships across the organization.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
