Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks an experienced Data Reporting Officer/Senior Reporting Manager I to manage end-to-end CCAR FR Y-14Q schedule preparation, validation, review and submission for complex schedules. This role drives consistency across schedules and serves as SME for reporting rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent education.
• 10 years of work experience in access enterprise databases (Netezza, Oracle, DB2) and report development.
• 10 years of experience in SAS and/or SQL programming.
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting and writing detailed SAS/SQL statements.
• Experience writing detailed technical reporting requirements and communicating with developers and business users.
• Experience in regulatory or SEC reporting with CCAR reporting.
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion Reporting and GL Master Data.
• Advanced Excel / VBA skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with the ability to define problems and persuasively present conclusions.
• Intelligent, strong and decisive leadership within an organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end CCAR FR Y-14Q schedule preparation, validation, review and submission.
• Coordinate with Treasury and LOBs on reporting changes and design/testing.
• Mentor junior analysts on processes, data interpretation, and regulatory concepts.
• Develop testing and controls to improve data integrity from source to report.
• Escalate data quality issues and drive root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Lead daily, monthly, and quarterly regulatory reporting and variance analysis.
