AbbVie Inc. seeks an Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs US Advertising and Promotion-Oncology to set strategy and lead cross-functional teams across Medical, Marketing, Regulatory and Legal to advance oncology advertising programs.

The role requires a solid regulatory background in advertising and promotion, experience in a complex matrix environment, and proven leadership with budget oversight. This hybrid role involves collaboration across locations including Mettawa, IL and other AbbVie

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in science required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Solid understanding of regulatory advertising and promotion regulations.
• Experience in a complex, matrix environment and in management roles.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written; oncology experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set strategy and lead cross-functional therapeutic teams and multidivisional initiatives.
• Maintain productivity metrics to project current and future needs.
• Align with Medical, Marketing, Regulatory, Legal and Public Affairs counterparts.
• Assist in departmental budget management and communicate needs.
• Analyze issues/trends to identify cross-organization opportunities.
• Operate independently with escalation when needed; manage day-to-day operations.
• Encourage innovation and mentor staff; recognize performance and promotion potential.
• Develop processes and deliver strategic presentations for senior management.
