Job summary

GISI Consulting Group seeks a Regulatory Compliance Counsel to design and implement enterprise risk, compliance, and audit programs. You will support operating companies, respond to regulatory inquiries, and advise leaders on ethics, data governance, and third-party risk.

The role involves enterprise-wide exposure with internal investigations, external inquiries, and training, reporting to the Chief Compliance Counsel. Remote-first with period travel to NYC and other office locations as needed.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in compliance, internal audit, investigations, or related roles.
• Experience leading or overseeing a compliance and/or internal audit function within a complex organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee enterprise integrity standards including anti-corruption and conflicts of interest.
• Lead investigations and advise senior leadership on integrity issues.
• Manage third-party risk programs, due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
• Support enterprise risk management including risk & controls register and board-level reporting.
• Assist with data privacy compliance, governance, and responsible AI use.
