Job summary

ENSTAR seeks a Senior Regulatory Financial Analyst in Anchorage to join the Rates and Regulatory team. You will provide financial and economic analysis, develop modeling for regulatory filings, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting forecasting and tariff filings.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting/finance with utility or regulatory exposure; CPA/CMA preferred. A valid Alaska driver's license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Five+ years of related work experience; auditing, utility or regulatory experience preferred.
• CPA or CMA preferred; knowledge of tariffs/regulatory issues advantageous.
• Valid Alaska driver's license and ability to meet ENSTAR driving requirements.
• Ability to pass background, employment, credit, drug and driving checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical, financial and economic analysis to support company and department objectives.
• Develop and maintain models for regulatory filings, corporate analysis, and planning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory/state requirements.
• Assist in annual gas sales, gas purchasing and revenue forecast for GAS cost adjustments.
• Prepare tariff provisions, filings, and testimony for the Regulatory Commission of Alaska.
• Analyze cost of service, fuel filings, and revenue requirements; support revenue sufficiency.
• Present expert witness testimony and related exhibits and responses.
• Maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities.
• Prepare technical writing for testimony and tariff filings; train junior analysts.
• Support other regulatory department functions as needed.
