Job summary

American Electric Power Co. is seeking a Regulatory Consultant Senior or Principal to support CCN filings, rate design, and regulatory strategy across jurisdictions.

You will develop testimony, coordinate monthly reports, and present regulatory analyses to management and commissions. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and regulatory knowledge, with travel and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years related experience.
• Or Associate's degree with 8 years related experience.
• Or High School diploma with 10 years related experience.
• Principal level requires 6 years with the same degree options.

Responsibilities

• Develop direct and rebuttal testimony for CCN filings.
• Coordinate with internal parties for construction progress reports.
• Interpret regulatory needs and implement projects with measurable goals.
• Prepare and present complex regulatory subjects to management and regulators.
• Assist in opportunities and system-wide regulatory improvements.
