Job summary

Toyota Financial Savings Bank is hiring a Regulatory Compliance Manager in the United States. You will safeguard operations by identifying, mitigating, and managing regulatory, reputational, and operational risks in a timely manner.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance, you will drive a robust CMS and ensure adherence to state and federal requirements while mentoring the team and coordinating regulatory examinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, compliance, risk management, or a business-related field.
• 10+ years of regulatory compliance experience within large banks and financial services with knowledge of federal and state banking laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of CMS and CAMELS; risk assessment experience.
• Strong presentation skills in creating and delivering materials.
• Experience with Mortgage and Auto Lending regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing compliance program activities, including complaints and corrective action.
• Leadership experience in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic compliance efforts and oversight of regulatory expectations and emerging risks affecting CAMELS ratings and consumer protection regulations.
• Collaborate with Legal, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Risk teams to solve complex issues and reduce risks across the bank.
• Support regulatory examinations coordination and corrective action management.
• Develop and update Corporate Compliance Policies, Standards, and Procedures for business units.
• Produce regular risk and compliance reports for Senior Management and Board updates.
• Mentor Analysts and strengthen team capability for future leaders.
• Oversee customer complaints handling and root-cause analysis for regulatory issues.
• Guide implementation of regulatory changes initiated by state and federal action.
