Base, America’s next-generation power company, seeks a Compliance Officer to lead regulatory programs in a fast-changing energy tech setting in Austin, TX. You’ll own the program, manage filings, and collaborate with leadership to stay in good standing with regulators.

Build scalable processes for new markets, coordinate with PUCT, ICC, FERC, and ISOs/RTOs, and maintain audit-ready records while guiding daily operations and contracts. Join a startup culture with mission-driven energy impact.

Formación

• 7+ years of compliance experience in heavily regulated energy sectors.
• Experience building or running a compliance program from risk to training.
• Knowledge of retail electric provider rules and tariffs.
• Ability to read administrative codes and translate them to operations.

Responsabilidades

• Build and own Base’s compliance program across markets.
• Prioritize filings and develop repeatable playbooks.
• Serve as regulator contact with PUCT, ICC, FERC, ISOs/RTOs.
• Maintain audit-ready records and calendars.
• Track rulemakings and brief Leadership on impacts.
• Integrate compliance into daily operations and contracts.
• Investigate violations and drive issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance for installers, vendors, and partners.
• Report program health to Leadership including deadlines.
• Oversee energy trading compliance, controls, and reporting.
