Job summary

Pentair is seeking an Engineering Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead the product compliance function for pool and spa equipment in Sanford, NC. You will ensure designs, certifications, documentation, and manufacturing sustain compliance with safety and energy‑efficiency standards across domestic and global markets.

You will drive strategy, infrastructure, and collaboration with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to deliver compliant products on schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Sciences.
• 10+ years in product regulatory compliance and related engineering roles.
• 5+ years in management leading regulatory teams and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Regulatory Compliance team and manage priorities and performance.
• Define and execute product‑compliance strategy for new products and changes.
• Establish scalable compliance infrastructure, templates, and dashboards.
• Identify applicable regulatory and certification requirements for pool and spa products.
• Lead certification activities with UL, Intertek, TÜV, NSF, FCC, IEC, and others.
• Translate standards into engineering requirements and test plans.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify risks and meet timelines.
• Manage regulatory‑impact assessments for design and supplier changes.
• Ensure documentation and records are accurate, controlled, and audit ready.
• Monitor regulatory changes and drive corrective actions for findings.
