Job summary

Woof is seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead regulatory compliance across our pet product portfolio, from development through launch and ongoing market entry.

You will own regulatory reviews for formulations, labels, and packaging, translate complex requirements for cross-functional teams, and ensure FDA, AAFCO, NASC, Prop 65, and REACH compliance across markets. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on process building in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of regulatory affairs in the CPG industry, with at least 5 years in the pet industry.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or JD is a plus.
• Experience with FDA, AAFCO, NASC, Prop 65, REACH and related regs.
• Ability to build or improve regulatory processes in a growing org.
• Experience managing trackers, calendars, and claims documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own regulatory reviews for formulations, labels, packaging, and claims across Woof's portfolio.
• Translate regulatory requirements for cross-functional teams.
• Ensure FDA, state feed laws, NASC and labeling compliance.
• Support packaging/environmental compliance initiatives (EPR, recyclability).
• Review labels, disclosures, warnings, and marketing claims for compliance.
• Escalate regulatory risks and launch readiness as needed.
