Honoka’a Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Professional Nurse III to independently develop and implement nursing care plans for patients across clinical services. The role includes providing nursing care, education, and potentially directing lower-level staff or serving as charge nurse during shifts.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills and commitment to our mission and values as we deliver care at East Hawaiʻi facilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state of Hawaii
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is desirable but not required
• Evidence of required training (transcripts or diploma) should be submitted with application

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing care plans for patients
• Provide nursing care and education to patients and families
• May assign and direct lower-level RNs and nursing assistants; may serve as charge nurse
