Job summary

Hilo Benioff Medical Center in East Hawaiʻi seeks a compassionate registered nurse to join our 24/7 team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult and geriatric patients, coordinate with physicians and staff, and provide discharge teaching.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Hawaii RN licensure, BLS certification within one month, and at least 6 months of nursing experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS in Health Care Provider within 1 month after employment.
• Hawaii RN licensure required with application.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diseases, medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-centered environment with infection control and safety standards.
• Serve as Charge Nurse or team leader as assigned.
