Job summary

University Health Partners of Hawai'i is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a clinical setting. You will assess and update care plans, administer meds and IV therapies, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Hawaii RN license, a Bachelor’s in Nursing, and a current BLS certification. Outpatient experience and EMR proficiency are preferred, with standard full-time hours and occasional extended shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; associate degree with experience may substitute.
• Current Hawai‘i RN license required.
• BLS CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Place IV access and monitor IV/venous devices.
• Obtain blood samples and manage phlebotomy tasks.
• Document patient progress and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals.
• Assist with patient registration and scheduling.
